SMT’s tooling operation is ISO 9001:2000 registered. Our Quality Technicians and cell leaders utilize an OGP Smartscope visual inspection system and a Brown and Sharpe Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) System to confirm dimensional accuracies on the shop floor. In-process inspection and calibrated inspection tools insure that operations are completed error free. Our Quality team is proficient with all required documentation for part approval, including First Articles and PPAP’s. SMT can supply all quality dimensional data and reports electronically to our customers.
